WHO WE ARE
A Distinct Identity
The Charity was founded as a result of a bequest contained in the Will of the late Mary Elizabeth Fluck who died in 1927. The original scheme was registered with and sealed by the Charity Commission in March 1956 and was amended by an Order sealed in July 1965
APPLICATION OF TRUST INCOME
Grant may be made for the following purposes (not an exhaustive list)
EXPENSES
To defray the expenses of recuperative holidays, school residential trips and other similar expenses.
HOME ESSENTIALS
To supply clothing, bedding, furniture, home appliances such as refrigerators or beds etc, medical or other aids (especially for those suffering physical and mental health challenges) and other comforts.
ASSISTANCE
Obtaining domestic help possibly for respite care and, or assistance with nursery fees in conjunction with respite care.
THE BENEFICIARIES
A beneficiary is a women or child ( male or female ) under the age of 18 who is considered to be of poor financial means and who is sick, infirm or convalescent after illness, disease or surgical operation and is resident in the City of Gloucester or in the immediate surrounds.

No application will be accepted directly from members of the public
but must be submitted by a responsible person ( e.g. Social Services, Medical Practitioner, Health Visitor or Practice Nurse, or other officers of the Health Trust, Citizens Advice Bureau, Housing Association Neighbourhood Projects).
